Conservation Districts are governed by a 5-member board of supervisors as defined in RCW 89.08. Of those 5 supervisors, 3 are elected by registered voters within the conservation district boundary, and 2 are appointed by the Washington State Conservation Commission . Conservation District board of supervisors must include at least 3 natural resource producers and at least 3 landowners. In addition, board supervisors must live within the conservation district boundary.
Our current five person board of supervisors are: – Kyle Deerkop – Lisa Zaborac – Nora Doelman – Heather Smith – Rick Boyer
Board of supervisors meetings are held on a monthly basis. Our board of supervisors meeting takes place on the second Tuesday of every month from 10 am – 12 pm. These are open meetings and members of the public may join us either in person at our office in the Satsop Business Park or virtually via Google Meet.
A record of our meeting minutes and agendas can be found below.
